New Folk winner CJ Watson had a Top Ten Indie
country single on Pristine Records, was lead
guitarist/vocalist for the 1st rock band
to tour China and is the author of several books,
including “The Everything Songwriting Book” (Adams
Media). CJ was a founding cast member/writer for
public radio’s “Roadside Attraction”, and has played
on the “Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree” and “Opry
Star Spotlight”. He’s been called “A true genius”
(Ralph Murphy, Sr. VP, ASCAP),"A brilliant writer"
(Shake Magazine), an “amazing guitar virtuoso” (Ken
Renales, pres., Cubbyhole Records), “The best
songwriter to come to Nashville in a decade” (Bart
Herbison, Exec. Dir., NSAI) and “a pretty good
cook” (Jaime Babbitt, diva for hire). His parents
were folksingers.
