At age 15, Mary Gauthier
(say it: go-shay) stole her parents’ car and hit the
road. Mary’s sixth album, The Foundling (May 2010),
re-tells the emotional journey of searching for and
finding the mother who abandoned her in New Orleans
after her birth. The story of The Foundling
resonated across the country, and was named in many
year-end Top Album lists. Mary has logged a dozen
years of recording and touring around the world,
gathered a harvest of music industry awards, and
heard her songs recorded by a roster of great
artists.
